GN Solids Control shipped another containerized OBM vertical cuttings dryer for one overseas mud company this week. It is suitable for low working temperature even in cold winter.

This vertical cuttings dryer module includes one cuttings dryer GNCD930G, two screw conveyors, one flushing pump, one lifting crane, one middle transfer tank etc. While the decanter centrifuge module includes one decanter centrifuge GNLW363D-VFD, one feeding screw pump, one screw conveyor and one container.

GN Solids Control has provided many sets of containerized vertical cuttings dryer systems for global customers. Vertical cuttings dryer is mainly used for OBM, SBM cuttings separation, it can reduce the drilling cuttings volume largely so as to save the shipping cost.
This containerized cuttings treating system is pretty convenient to move among different drilling rig sites. All need to do is connect the screw conveyor to the feeding port and the discharge port.
GN Vertical Cuttings Dryer can reduce the oil on the cuttings from 20% to less than 5%. The flights on the cuttings dryer is hard faced for wear resistant. GN now provides 3 different sizes of screen baskets, the smallest size GN cuttings dryer is above 250 microns.
GN Solids Control made decanter centrifuge GNLW363D-VFD is a 14 inch bowl size decanter, with the large G force, particles above 2~5 microns can be removed by the centrifuge. Whole rotating bowl is made of duplex stainless steel by centrifugal casting, and the screw propeller is protected by the tungsten carbide tiles.

After water testing, GN Solids Control will ship this cuttings dryer module and decanter centrifuge module to customer’s site.
