The Solid Control System of the Deep-Well Drilling Rig for Coalfield Geology to China Drilling Company
China Drilling Company has made a strategic move to enhance its coalfield geology operations by adopting a cutting-edge solid control
system for its deep-well drilling rigs. This system is engineered to streamline drilling fluid management, ensuring that the drilling process
is not only efficient but also environmentally conscious.
System Components
The solid control system comprises the following key elements:
**4 Mud Tanks**: These tanks are essential for the storage and management of drilling fluids. They facilitate the separation and
treatment of solids from the drilling mud, maintaining the fluid in an optimal state for drilling.
- **2 GNZS594 Shale Shakers**: These shale shakers are the cornerstone of the solid control system. With a processing capacity of
up to 140 m³/h, they are designed to handle large volumes of drilling mud. The GNZS594 shale shaker features a single-layer,
four-shale shaker screens setup with a total screening area of 2.73㎡. The adjustable G force can be maximized up to 7.5G, and the
screen box can be effectively adjusted from -1 to +5 degrees. This flexibility allows for customization based on the specific
requirements of the drilling environment. The GNZS594 shale shaker is also available in various explosion-proof standards, including
ExdIIBT4/IECEX/ATEX, ensuring safety in potentially hazardous conditions.
- **1 GNZS594J-2S12N Mud Cleaner**: This compact and powerful unit combines a desander hydrocyclone, a desilter hydrocyclone,
and a bottom flow shale shaker. It is an ideal choice for second and third-stage solid control in drilling mud. The GNZS594J-2S12N
is not only space-efficient but also a high-performance mud cleaner that ensures the drilling mud is free from unwanted solids.
- **1 GNLW452 Drilling Fluid Decanter Centrifuge**: This centrifuge is designed to separate solid particles from light mud at
a lower cost. Equipped with a 75hp main motor and a 30hp auxiliary motor, the GNLW452 decanter centrifuge offers a processing
capacity of 40 cubic meters per hour and an extreme separation factor of 815G. Its compact design, with both motors located at
one end, saves space and enhances efficiency. The decanter centrifuge is not only limited to drilling applications but also finds
use in industrial waste water treatment, marine oil spill recovery, oil sludge separation, municipal sewage purification, and mining
wastewater treatment.
