Some drilling rigs is working at special environment, like swamp, mountainous region, ocean region, small island etc. The installation of drilling rigs, solids control system, and other related equipment need to be modular with compact dimension and weight. Most of the modular can be lifted by helicopter.

Recently, GN Solids Control just have one project for South Pacific customer. They have some oil regions which require helicopter drilling rigs, helicopter mud tanks, helicopter solids control equipment etc. As China leading manufacturer for solids control equipment & drilling waste management equipment, we offer highly customized solids control package to the customer after have comprehensive discussion; the customer buy equipment as below:

1) 8 sets customized vertical mud tanks as storage tanks, with dimension 2200x2200x5800mm, the 8 sets mud tank can be put into 4 ea 40feet high cubic containers. The total weight is smaller than 5tons, which can be lifted by helicopter transportation. Floater ball inside to measure the level of drilling mud inside.

2) 2 sets customized horizontal mud tanks as mixing tanks, with dimension 5800x2200x2200mm, the 2 sets mud tank can be put into 1 ea 40feet high cubic container. The total weight is smaller than 5tons, which can be lifted by helicopter transportation.

3) 2 set shale shaker, GNZS594E-HB, first phase separation equipment. With composite material shale shaker screen, the lifetime and performance will be much better. Every year, GN Solids Control sell about 250sets shale shaker & mud cleaner.

4) 1 set mud cleaner, GNZJ594E-2S12N, second phase cleaning equipment & third phase cleaning equipment. The shaker screen for mud cleaner and shaker screen for shale shaker is the same size, interchangeable.  Every year, GN Solids Control sell about 250sets shale shaker & mud cleaner.

5) 2 sets decanter centrifuge, GNLW363CG (fixed speed ) and GNLW363CG-VFD ( variable speed centrifuge), fourth phase mud cleaning equipment. It mainly used to adjust the gravity of the drilling mud and give support for drilling process.Every year, GN Solids Control sell about 150sets decanter centrifuge for solids control & drilling waste management.

Except for above equipment, the end user also show high interest on GN drilling waste management equipment, especially for drilling vertical cuttings dryer and cuttings solidification units. To give better protection on local environment, the customer will buy some key equipment for drilling waste/ oil sludge treatment.
