GN Solids Control is pleased to announce the successful shipment of a custom-designed drilling fluids mixing and storage tank system to an international oilfield service company.

The system features a robust combination of mixing tanks and storage tanks, engineered to efficiently prepare, condition, and store drilling fluids on site. Each mud tank incorporates essential components including mud mixing hoppers, centrifugal mixing pumps, and mud agitators to maintain consistent fluid homogeneity and prevent solids sedimentation throughout drilling operations.

The mixing tanks are equipped with venturi-style hoppers and powerful centrifugal pumps for rapid incorporation of chemicals and additives into the drilling fluid system. The storage tanks, available in both vertical and horizontal configurations, are designed for large-volume containment with integrated level sensors for accurate volume monitoring.

This modular allows for rapid deployment and easy configuration according to specific drilling site requirements. When integrated with other solids control equipment such as shale shakers, degassers, and decanter centrifuges, the solution enables oilfield service companies to maintain precise control over fluid properties, reduce chemical costs, and minimize non-productive time.
