Compact Structure Solids Removal Unit for Internation Client
This week, GN just finished the fabrication of one set compact structure SRU (Solids Removal Unit) for mining industry for a international client. So far, this is the 3rd orders of this type mud recycling system from this client.According to client's feedback, GN upgraded the design of the solid removal unit and made it more suitable for mining industry.

For environmental, GN SRU is environmental friendly sump free operation system. It will reduce significantlywater consumption and Improve waste management. It’s small footprint impact less on surrounding environment.
For cost saving consideration, GN SRU enhances efficiency of drilling fluids to reduce mud consumption usage and reduces wear and tear of drilling components caused by abrasive drilling fluids. Besides, GN SRU can be fast and easy set up and tear down. It is safe to operate with Less manual handling.
What equipment is included in GN SRU
Though GN SRU is small footprint and compact structure, it includes all necessary equipment for solid removing process. Just like the SRU mentioned in this article, it has a mud tank to be used as base support, mud storage and mixing.
GN mini shale shaker GNZS752 is equipped in this SRU for primary coarse solids removing. After much of the large size solids removed, the mud will be transferred to GN mini centrifuge GNLW223 for fine solids removing. GN developed these 2 types of mini model especially for small capacity separation project like miming and core diamond drilling.
It is worth to mention that in this compact SRU, to save space and reduce the cost. Only one unit centrifugal pump functions as both transfer pump and mixing pump. The whole system operation overall dimension is only around 4000x4000x2300mm, which makes it can be put on a trailer for easy transportation from site to site.
