Oil Based Drilling Cuttings Treatment System to China ES Company
Drilling cuttings are one of the most difficult treating materials in the oil and gas industry, many companies are using shale shaker, decanter centrifuge as well as thermal desorption unit to remove oil and get clean solids. It indeed costs a lot of energy to heat the oil cuttings, while we do have another budget solution use decanter centrifuge and cuttings dryer.

1.GN Cuttings Dryer
GN Cuttings Dryer GNCD930F is particularly designed to treat oil base cuttings, usually oil on the final cuttings is around 20 %, and after treated by GN cuttings dryer, oil can be eliminated to within 5%.
GN cuttings dryer is a mechanical separation equipment, screen basket and flight only has 1mm gap, cuttings distributed inside along the flight and oil penetrate through the screen basket and get recovered. GN Solids provides 3 different sizes screen openings, 0.25 mm, 0.35 mm and 0.5 mm.
2.GN Decanter Centrifuge
GN Decanter Centrifuge GNLW363C-VFD is used to further treat the drilling mud discharged from cutting dryer, as cuttings dryer only removes particles larger than 250 microns, while centrifuge can eliminate solids larger than 2-5 microns.
GNLW363C-VFD is a 14 inch bowl decanter centrifuge, bowl material made of SS2205 or SS2304. Screw propeller is fixed with long time wear-resistant tungsten carbide tiles.
3.GN Screw Conveyor and Centrifuge Stand
Drilling cuttings discharged from GN Cuttings Dryer and GN Decanter Centrifuge is collected and transferred by GN screw conveyor into a cuttings box.
And to keep the decanter centrifuge in a right working position, GN Solids Control provides a telescopic skid to support the centrifuge, a positive feeding pump is located on the skid bottom.
