Drilling cuttings treatment equipment is becoming more and more important for oil service company or drilling company. They use the equipment to treat the drilling cuttings discharged from solids control equipment line, including shale shaker, desander, desilter. As many customer want to use it in a flexible way, mobile drilling cuttings treatment unit is popular.

GN Solids mobile unit have been tested by many customers. The unit could be used both for oil based mud and water based mud.

Basic configuration of GN Solids mobile drilling cuttings treatment unit.

GN Solids mobile drilling cuttings treatment unit main working process

During drilling operation period, the drilling cuttings discharged from solids control equipment line will be collected by one horizontal screw conveyor which installed under the discharge port and be paralled with solids control equipment line; then the drilling cuttings will be transported to one end of screw conveyor and go to another slope conveyor, this slope conveyor can transport the drilling cuttings to top of vertical cuttings dryer; after treated by dryer, the dry solids part can be collected by cuttings box; the liquid parts can go to following equipment decanter centrifuge ; after treatment by centrifuge, the dry solids part can be collected by cuttings box and the liquid parts can go back to solids control mud tanks.  This is the general recycling process.

If for water based mud, we just need to replace the vertical cuttings dryer to High G dryer. Acutally, some customer use High G dryer for both water based mud and oil based mud to lower production cost.
