Large Mud Decanter Centrifuge System for TBM engineering company
GN Solids Control has been providing thousands of solids and liquid separation systems to civil contractors from TBM, HDD, Trenchless, Piling industries, equipment include shaker, desander, desilter, and decanter centrifuge.
During the last two month, GN Solids Control has been busy manufacturing one large mud decanter centrifuge system for a TBM engineering company. Now with all water testing, this TBM slurry treating system is ready to deliver to the work site.
This GN mud decanter centrifuge system mainly includes:
1.GN 30 inch Bowl Decanter Centrifuge
GN 30 inch bowl decanter centrifuge GNLW764A-VFD is the largest size GN can build now. GN Solids Control also has the other bowl sizes, such as 22 inch, 18 inch, 14 inch and 9 inch.
When solids around 20% in the slurry, GN centrifuge is proven to treat up to 120 m3/h. Solids larger than 5 microns can be removed by using this GN 30 inch bowl centrifuge.
Water cooling to keep the two main bearings from hot temperature. Tungsten inserts to protect the solids ring from weariness, and screw propeller is welded with tungsten tiles to wear-proof.
2.GN Automatic Dosing Unit
As we know only use mechanical separation is not able to remove all fine particles less than 5 microns, so a chemical dosing unit is necessary to add flocculant together with the slurry.
GN automatic dosing unit GNW-6000L is able prepare 6000 l/h flocculant, with two screw dosing pumps: one for feeding and one for backup.
3.GN Screw Conveyor
Solids discharged from the centrifuge is collected and transferred by GN screw conveyor. Supported by GN telescopic skid to adjust the working height.
Screw flights are using wear-resistant material, outer shell is using reinforced supporting frame. In case of blocking, GN screw conveyor can rotate counter clockwise to push the solids.
4.GN Mobile Container
Totally 2 standard containers are used to hold the centrifuge and the chemical dosing unit. A safe and good working environment is provided as air conditioner are fixed inside these 2 decorated containers.
During working, two containers are piped with the centrifuge one on the other to save the space. And fixed with lifting pad, easy to move and relocate.
