GN Solid Control has provided thousands of drilling cuttings management systems and solids control systems for global oil and gas companies. More and more offshore drilling companies are using GN Solids Control made drying shakers, decanter centrifuges and cuttings dryers to treat drill cuttings before discharged to the sea.

Last week, GN Solids Control finished manufacturing of one set offshore drilling waste management system for an Asian drilling company. It mainly includes Hi-G drying shaker and vertical cuttings dryer. 
1.GN Hi-G Drying Shale Shaker
GN drying shale shaker is mostly used to remove solids larger than 100 microns. GN Solids Control provides linear motion and dual motion shaker. It is running under 8.0 G force, particles in the drilling mud discharged from the shale shaker can be further dried. 
GN Solids Control provides the whole product line of shaker screens, not only GN own made shakers that GN can manufacture, GN Solids Control also manufactures replacement screens for world wide famous shaker screens. 
To get drier solids, GN Solids Control also provides new technology ViST unit, also called vacuum screen unit to remove fluid from the drilling cuttings. 

2.GN Vertical Cuttings Dryer
GN Vertical Cuttings Dryer is especially designed to treat OBM, SBM when the Hi-G shaker is usually used to treat WBM. 
GN Solids Control provides 3 types of screen baskets, among them the smallest screen size is 250 microns. Solids larger than 250 microns can be removed, and oil is collected after treated by GN Cuttings Dryer. Oil on the final cuttings can be reduced to 3-5% from 20%. 
GN vertical cuttings dryer is controlled by variable speed control box or fix speed control box. It’s easy to operate by VFD box, as the key parameters like rotating speed, differential speed can be adjusted easily on the HMI panel.
