GN Solids Control is one of the first companies who developed the drilling cuttings solidification and stabilization unit for drilling waste management. GN Solids already have two generation of drilling cuttings solidification unit working the filed. Now based on the feedback for the two generation, GN solids control updated and improved the unit and now released the third generation drilling cuttings solidification unit which is more user friendly and more cost-effective.

The features of this 3rd Generation drilling cuttings solidification unit including: bigger storage capacity for solidification agent, flushing system, stronger mixing unit for heavy duty operation.

 The old Generation of GN drilling cuttings unit is one skid. And now the new Generation drilling cuttings solidification unit is divided into two parts . One Skid for mixer and solidification  feeding conveyors, the other skid for drilling cuttings storage and feeding system. This will give flexibility to client to use it’s own drilling cuttings storage hopper and feeding conveyor. Anyway, the system still be be put into a 40 FT container for shipping.

The solutions provided by the solidification unit is that Cost can be relatively in-expensive for the treatment of both oil based and water based drilling cuttings and waste. The drilling waste is mostly from the discharge for shale shaker and decanter centrifuges.

The GN drilling cuttings Solidification/Stabilization unit required is easily operated and maintained, also since it’s adjustable preset capacity, it works continuously and automatically, so it needs relatively few man hours, moreover, no chemical waste that requires further treatment is produced.
